Express Entry
The Express Entry is an online application system for economic immigration programs, namely, Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class . The provinces and territories also use this program to recruit talent through the Provincial Nominee Program to meet with the needs of the labor market.
Create An Online Profile
To begin the process of their application, a candidate would need to create an online profile by providing their language test results and education credentials assessments. The candidates would also provide their Skilled Work Experience and other details while creating the profile.

- Have a minimum of one year of continuous work experience abroad in the last 10 years or minimum one year of work experience inside Canada in relevant skill level 00, 0, 1, 2, or 3 TEER category
- Meeting or exceeding the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) minimum language threshold as required by the programme
- Must have a Canadian high school diploma equivalent, or an international educational credential, along with an education credential review (ECA) as provided by provided from a designated agency
Comprehensive Ranking System
Once a candidate is in the Express Entry pool, they are assigned a score on the Comprehensive Ranking System based on a number of factors, namely:-
- Core human capital factors
- Spouse or common law partner factors
- Skills transferability
- A valid job offer
- A nomination from one of the provinces

Express Entry Draws And Data
The Minister issues the Invitation to Apply to candidates in the pool, depending on the cut-off score. If the candidate is invited to apply, they must submit their application for permanent residence within 60 days.
